The Antarctic Expedition

So what does The Liver Foundation and The Antarctic Expedition have in common?

Liver Transplant Surgeon, Prof Luc Delriviere and his wife Bronwyn are part of a team that is going to traverse a hitherto unknown stretch in the Antarctic. It is  The First Traverse of the Narrow Plateaux of The Antarctic Peninsula.

28 December 2018- 8 February 2019

The aim of this team is not only to challenge their own boundaries but also to raise awareness about the plight of little children in Western Australia who need a liver transplant but have no access to a local centre here. Funds raised will also go into medical research for liver disease.
